Green Halloween

Starting October 2nd, drop off your gently used costumes for vouchers that may be redeemed for new (to you) costumes on October 7th.  Costumes may also be purchased for a $5.00 donation.

Food for Fines
All November
Bring in food items and get fines forgiven.  The library is looking to give 2000 pounds of food to the Glen Ed Pantry this year.  You can get $1.00 off of your account for overdue materials for each food item that you bring in.  Food will not be accepted for lost items.

Have an idea for a good story?  The national Novel Writing Month is a great opportunity to accept the challenge and take time to write.  Drop in for an hour, your lunch break, or for the whole time

A Plethora of Pens writing group meet on the first Monday of the month from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room. This writing group encourages each other’s creativity with plot scenarios and character development, and gives support to one another’s work.
