PART 1: Monday, January 12 from 6:00-7:30 pm in the Community Room.
PART 2: Thursday, January 15 from 6:00-7:30 pm in the Community Room.

Participants will learn how to knit, purl and increase (knit one front and back)
while making a pair of fingerless gloves. Participation is limited to 8, so sign up soon. 

Materials to bring:
One set of dpns US size 4 knitting needles
100-120 yards of DK weight yarn
Waste yarn
One tapestry needle
Stitch marker

PART 1: Tuesday, February 17 from 6:00-7:30 pm in the Community Room.
PART 2: Thursday, February 19 from 6:00-7:30 pm in the Community Room.

Participants will learn how to knit in the round, and the art of felting while knitting a 10″ x 6″ travel bag and bowl. Participation is limited to 8, so sign up soon. 

Felted Travel Bag Materials to bring:     

1 ball of Bulky Wool Yarn, must NOT be machine washable.
     Paton’s Classic Wool will work.

One Tapestry Needle (Blunt needle with a large eye)   Felted Bowl
One pair of straight US Size 10 Needles

Felted Bowl Materials to bring:
1 ball of Bulky Wool, must not be machine washable. Paton’s Classic Wool will work. You may bring two coordinating skeins of yarn to make the bowl two different colors.

One tapestry needle (Blunt needle with large eye)
One US size 13 circular Needle, 24 inches long for large bowl, and 16 inches long for small bowl.
One set of US size 13 double pointed needles (dpns)

Guidelines for yarn: wool, mohair, and alpaca will felt as long as it has not been treated in any way. Machine washable yarns will NOT felt. Synthetic and novelty yarns are not recommended for this project.
