How do I register?

There are two different registrations for youth. One is the Kids Community Quest for kids up through 5th grade. The other registration is the Teen Community Quest for youth in grades 6 through grade 12. Please use our Google Form to register online. If you do not have the Internet, please call the library or come to the library once we have officially reopened for service (check our website for information about when we might be opening).

When can I register?

The challenge officially starts Monday, May 18, and runs until Friday, July 31. Youth can register anytime between May 18 and July 31.

What can you count towards the Quest?

Books and activities completed between May 18 and July 31 can be used towards the Community Quest. Books read before or after these dates do not count.

Do I have to complete ALL the Challenges? What if I can’t find all the items on the Scavenger Hunt?

Our goal for the Community Quest was to provide you with a variety of options to keep you busy and entertained. At the same time, the library was closed and to replace open play, programs, and other group activities once we reopen. We wanted to provide you with enough activities to keep you engaged for the eleven weeks of the program. We do not expect you to complete all of the activities or challenges. Our goal is for you to have fun and try new things. You will get more raffle ticket entries for completing more challenges, but you should be having fun with the challenges. If you aren’t enjoying an activity or challenge, stop! Try something else.

When do I have to turn in my materials?

The Community Quest runs from May 18- July 31. All reading logs, challenges, and activities must be submitted by Friday, July 31, to be entered into the raffle drawings.

What are the prizes?

We will be raffling gift card for $5 to either Edison’s Entertainment Complex or to Annie’s Frozen Custard.

Can someone win more than one gift card?

Yes
