To help connect local residents and business with unclaimed cash or property held by the state, state Rep. Katie Stuart is partnering with the Illinois State Treasurer’s office for this free ICash event.

Look for them near the fireplace!

The State Treasurer is holding 2.5 billion dollars in unclaimed funds for Illinoisans. The State holds these lost funds until they are claimed by either the original owner or their heirs. Property is returned at no cost with the proper identification.

Those unable to attend can check the website for unclaimed property.
