Do you love Food? If yes, then come join Cookbook Club. Every month come and enjoy exploring food with a theme. Take home the cookbook of the month and bring a dish to share. The theme for February is Mardi Gras!

Gardening for the Birds
Feb 25 @ 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Mitch Leachman, of the St Louis Audubon Society, will discuss how to create a sanctuary for birds in your own backyard. Highlights include discussion of how to use native plants to create a bird habitat in your yard, what plants are especially attractive to birds and what bird species we can expect to see in Saint Louis.

Pajama Storytime

Get all cozy in your pajamas and join us for a night of stories! We plan our sessions with Pre-K to Kindergarten age children in mind, but we encourage kids of all ages to attend. Pajama Storytime is an excellent way for families to unwind together before bed. Pajamas, slippers, and robes, are all suggested, but not required.

Teen Candy Bingo
Feb 27 @ 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Play a sweet game of BINGO where the board is covered in candy instead of numbers. Can you guess what the prizes will be? This program is only open to all youth in grades 6 through 12.

AARP Tax-Aide Services 2019 @ Glen Carbon Centennial Library

This service is intended for low- to moderate-income taxpayers of any age. You do not have to be a member of AARP.

Appointments Required. Call or come in to schedule. This event is being held in the Community Room.

Last year’s return
Check book for direct deposit
Photo ID
Property tax bill
Social Security Cards for dependents
Medical insurance information, etc.

Cannot help with:

Stitchin’ in the Stacks

Do you like to Knit? Crochet? Embroider? Whatever your passion, gather and socialize with others who share your interest, and perhaps pick-up a few tips and tricks as you work your own creations! Please bring your sewing supplies.

Get fit and healthy when you join us for a calming session of yoga. Please be sure to bring your own yoga mat.

New procedural changes implemented April 2019.

One week prior to the start of each month, registration will open, dates may still need to be determined.
There is a max of 16 participants (two rows of 8, please) for this class. There will now be a sign in sheet on the door (or a table) for the first 16 confirmed on the list. Reminder calls are placed on Thursdays, please let us know if you can not make it, so another from the list can attend. And, please do not set up outside the door. We thank you for your patronage and appreciate your understanding.
