Mixed media is one of the most enjoyable and exciting way to create art. When we incorporate more than one media in one single art project we are using a mixed media technique. For the purpose of this class, Greta will mainly focus acrylic, oil pastels, and paper.

The library will provide: some oil pastels, acrylic paint, pencils & erasers, scissors, and glue.

Beekeeping and gardening go naturally together. Squash, cucumbers, apples, melons and strawberries are just a handful of the many crops that rely on bee pollination.
This class is perfect for those of you who are considering beekeeping for the first time and want to learn more before bee season is in full swing. If this is the year for you to dive into beekeeping, this is a great place to start!
About the presenter:
Bonnie Summers has been a beekeeper since 2009. She claims not to be a honeybee expert, but attended a beekeeping class in 2009 presented by the St Clair County Beekeepers after her interest in the loss of honeybees began. She is employed as a pediatric nurse practitioner.
The Midwestern United States Imperial Club in Collinsville has teamed up with The Library to offer swing dancing lessons.
