Speaker: Walter L. Hall

Mr. Hall has a M.A. in Military History and B.A. Journalism/Mass Communications. He is retired from the U.S. Navy. He is of this generation.

The use of generational labels are a shorthand way for describing the characteristics of defined groups of people, e.g., The Baby Boomers, Generation X, etc. The focus here, is on the Lucky Few Generation, those born between 1925 and 1945. The audience is invited to contribute personal stories, experiences, and reflections about this generation. They are considered a “successful” generation, especially in areas as, normal households, number of children, rise of mass education, high tide for marriages, motherhood and the baby boom.
