A broad designation for poetry intended for performance. Characterized by rhyme, repetition, improvisation, and word play. Spoken word can draw on music, sound, dance, or other kinds of performance to connect with audiences.
This performance is designed for multiple generations, so bring the family from ages 6 – 96.
Please note: The Open Mic portion opens at 6:00 pm. This is open to the public. Stage time is limited up to 5 minutes and material must be family friendly.
