Twitch for Teens

Books, Games, Art, and More!

Glen Carbon Library’s Youth Department is happy to invite you to follow us on our Twitch streaming channel @GlenCarbonLibrary! We’ll be streaming games, books, and art every week, so come hang out with us!

Mondays @ 5 pm with Aimee

Thursdays @ 6 pm with Sam

What is Twitch?

Twitch is an online live video streaming platform, where creators come to stream video games, podcasts, art, music, and more. With the internet becoming a bigger place, we want to make sure we can meet teens where they are: online!

Twitch’s Terms of Service require viewers to be 14 years of age or older. While the content we stream is generally friendly to all audiences, we do occasionally stream content intended for teens aged 14 and up. We advise you to only watch what is comfortable for you!

What do we stream?

Currently, our Youth Department focuses on video games and digital art! We always talk about the books we’re reading and the programs we have going on for teens, too! If you have any questions about our content or would like to recommend activities for us, please send us an email at aimeev@glencarbonlibrary.org.

Check out some of our favorite stream art!

Aimee and Sam love making new digital art every week. Click here to download any of our art as a printable coloring page!

How can you request the games we play?

All of the games we play on stream can be found in our catalog! Patrons can always request the games from other libraries, or Glen Carbon Library patrons can request for us to purchase an item to add to our collection. We always try to choose the very best materials for our collection!
